Holymoor GeoEnvironmental Services (HGES) provides the services of David Banks, an internationally experienced hydrogeologist, thermogeologist and environmental geochemist to non-commercial clients such as universities, research organisations and aid / development agencies.

HGES provides the following services:

• Teaching, lecturing and training services to UK and international universities
• Training services to public bodies and other non-commercial organisations.
• Assistance and advice to charities, UN organs and non-governmental organisations working in the fields of water supply, sanitation, renewable ground-sourced energy and geoenvironment in the context of international emergency aid and development.
• Advice and participation in research in the fields of hydrogeology, geochemistry and ground source heat.
• Scientific authorship and publication support.

David Banks is registered with the Inland Revenue as a self-employed sole trader, trading as "Holymoor Consultancy" from 1/8/98 to 30/11/08 and as "Holymoor GeoEnvironmental Services" from 1/12/08.

David Banks is also the Director of Holymoor Consultancy Ltd., which provides commercial consultancy and training services in hydrogeology, geochemistry and thermogeology.
